Hello everyone,

    Unfortunately the meet didn't go as planned tonight.  It would be nice if we could make it up but with Championships on Wednesday there is just not enough time.  Remember our end of the year banquet is next Monday July 2nd at 6:00pm at the Embry Hills pool.  We will be handing out awards, trophies, and having a good time!!

FOR THOSE NOT SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Your season is over!  Thanks so much for being a part of our team and remember we have our end of year banquet next week July 2nd at the Embry Hills pool at 6:00pm.  We will be handing out awards, trophies, and having a good time!!

FOR THOSE SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS:  We will have an optional practice tomorrow from 5:30-7:00.  There is no set schedule and we will be working on starts, turns, sprints, and anything else you may want to work on.   Also due to the cancellation of the meet tonight we will have BBQ and other assorted items for sell at the practice for a discounted rate.  So bring your appetites.  

Regarding the Championship meet.  Attached you will see an order of events and a seating chart.  The seating chart is the approximately location where we will sit at the GT pool.  Also here are a few things that you need to know.

1. There is a boys pool and a girls pool.  You guys can figure out which pool your swimmer will swim in :).  The meet is split up into the boys meet and the girls meet and they will swim both at the same time.
2. Also the order is a little different than a standard dual meet (see attached order of events).  They swim all relays first.  So after the Medley relays go then the Free relays begin.  This can get confusing at first.  
3. Also if you are the parent of a younger child who is on a relay than we need your help in getting your child where they need to be.  
4. Also pay attention to the announcing of the event number.  For individual events, your child will need to go through the bullpen area!!
5. The meet for 10& under is from 9am-12pm.  Our warm-up time is from 7:50-8:20.  I plan on being there around 7:30
6. The meet for 11 & up is from 3-6pm.  Our warm-up time is 1:50-2:10.
7. Parking is not free.  It is $15 at the parking garage or you can pre-pay and it is $12.  Here is the website https://gatech.clickandpark.com/ Be sure to pick the correct date (Wednesday July 27).  It is at the GT aquatic center.
8. The Championship meet can sometimes feel overwhelming....  There are a lot of moving parts so if there are any questions don't hesitate to ask.
9. At the end of the meet, my family and anyone else who would like to join us will be going to eat dinner at the Village burger in Tucker.  I don't know an exact time but it will probably be around 7ish.
