Good Morning Everybody,

For those whom I have not met, my name is Lenné Nawyn.  I am the Swim Team Coordinator.  You'll hear from me from time to time when volunteer needs arise.  

We are excited to have our first official meet in-person with another team this year.  It has been a journey the last two years, but I'm excited for us to get back in the swing of things.  For those who are not familiar, it takes a lot to run a swim meet and we are hosting the meet tonight at Embry Hills.  

I see we have a decent amount of people who have signed up to volunteer tonight - thank you for your willingness to help.  We do have several slots to fill before the meet begins.  

If you have not yet signed up for a slot, please take a look and see what is available.  You can sign up by clicking "Job Signup" next to the meet and select the slot that suits you best.

Here are the slots we need to fill - 

Bullpen - 2 needed for first shift 

Computer - 1 for first shift

1 for second shift

Concessions - 2 for first shift (we can probably get by with 1)

2 for second shift (1 will be fine)

Finish Judges - 1 for first shift 

1 for second shift

Grill Master - 1 to grill hotdogs

Runner - 1 for second shift

I'm hoping we can get the majority of these filled before we assemble for the meet.  If not, I'll be running around asking you all in person haha!  

On a side-note, unfortunately we will be unable to hand out the t-shirts before the meet.  There is a major shortage in youth sized shirts this year.  We had to change the color of the shirt to Navy in order to have more sizes available.  I'll try to keep you all in the loop as they become available.  We do have a few leftover shirts from previous years left that we will bring - feel free to browse for your child's size if you have not had a chance to already.  

REMINDER - PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILDREN SIT IN OR RIGHT NEXT TO THE BULLPEN in between events.  It is extremely difficult to line up kids for their next event when they are on the playground or sitting on the side of the pool instead of the upper-deck.  

Thank you for all you do!  This is definitely a team effort all around but is a lot of fun for the kids.
